With race day less than a week away, packet pick-up for runners participating in the 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon is quickly approaching.

Runners will be able to pick up marathon materials at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo, held Oct. 7-8 at the McCormick Place Convention Center. There, participants can retrieve their bib number, gear check tag, timing device, Nike participant running shirt and participant bag.

More than 200 exhibitors will be at the event, featuring the newest designs in running footwear, apparel and accessories, as well as the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition.

Among this year's exhibitors are Athletico Physical Therapy, Chicago Area Runners Association, Nike, the North Face, Powerbar and New Balance.

Runner’s World Stage presentations at the expo will also be held to give participants an opportunity to learn more about the course, receive last-minute tips and hear from industry experts.

Free shuttle bus service to the expo will be available from the Downtown Hilton Chicago, the River North Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, the Magnificent Mile Nike Chicago store and the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

The two-day event is free and open to the public. Expo hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 7, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 8.
