2014 Taste of Chicago Food Lineup Announced

    Twenty-two new places to tease your palate are among the restaurants and food trucks scheduled to take part in the 2014 Taste of Chicago.

    The annual food and entertainment festival runs July 9 through July 13 in Chicago's Grant Park.

    In all, the 66 establishments will include seven new restaurants, eight new pop-ups and seven new food trucks.

    Among the biggest newcomers is Mariano's, which will be on site as both a restaurant and as a demonstration area.

    Other new restaurants and food trucks are: The Big Cheese Poutinerie, Brasserie by LM, Brazilian Bowl Grill, Bridgeport Pasty, Chicago's Dog House, Chicago Lunchbox, Gino's Steak, Harold's Chicken, Ms. Tittle's Cupcakes, Kamehachi, Lawrence's Fisheries, M Burger, Mama Mia, Mariano's, Mayan Sol Latin Grill, Restaurant Veneno de Nayarit, The Savoy, Sol de Mexico, SpritzBurger, Stan's Donuts & Coffee, Starfruit Cafè and Windy City Patty Wagon.

    Admission to the Taste of Chicago is free, and tickets for food and beverages can be purchased in strips of 12 tickets for $8.50.

    Taste of Chicago hours will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
