Two men face felony charges for allegedly beating and robbing a female cab driver, Chicago Breaking News reported.
Sung Won Chung, 22, and Alexander Choi, 19, were each ordered held on $125,000 bond. They are charged with felony aggravated robbery and aggravated battery of a taxi driver, according to the report.
Police say Chung and Choi refused to pay their fare around 2 a.m., then fought with the taxi driver, pulling her to the ground while punching and kicking her.
A witness pointed police to a nearby building, where they found Chung and Choi in a stairwell.
Neither student has a record. Chung, who is a South Korean native, has asked that the country's consulate be called.
