‘1, 2, 3': Winning $1M Lottery Ticket Sold at DeKalb Grocery Store

One lucky winner won $1 million after their Powerball ticket matched all five numbers – 1, 2, 3, 7, 39 - in Saturday’s drawing

Winning the lottery isn’t always as easy as one, two, three – but sometimes it is.

One lucky winner in a Chicago suburb won $1 million after their Powerball ticket matched all five numbers – 1, 2, 3, 7, 39 - in Saturday’s drawing. The ticket did not match the Powerball number, which was 25.

The winning ticket was purchased at Schnucks, 975 S. Annie Glidden Rd. in DeKalb.

The Illinois Lottery urged the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they can bring it to one of the lottery’s five prize centers. The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.

More than 24,100 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $1 million in this Powerball drawing.
