Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich has gotten a lot of bad press over the last year. He is facing corruption charges, after all. But Time magazine on Friday named the man with a perfect coif the second-best Elvis Presley impersonator of all time.
He's ranked just behind another music hero, Johnny Cash, but ahead of celebrities Andy Kaufman and John Stamos.
The magazine released the list to coincide with what would have been the King of Rock 'n Roll's 75th birthday.
"He loves Elvis and being associated with him in this way is a real thrill," said Blagojevich spokesman Glenn Selig.
Blagojevich took to the stage last summer at a Chicago block party and belted out Elvis' 1969 track "Treat Me Nice." And while some in the immediate audience seem to be confused by what they were witnessing, video of the performance has become quite a hit online.
The former Illinois governor will compete on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice, which premieres March 14th on NBC, to raise money for the Children's Cancer Center in Tampa.
Speaking at a book signing in Chicago Friday, Blagojevich conceded that Trump -- his "boss" on the show -- has a better hairdo.
