Six people were arrested at a small anti-Olympic protest Tuesday night in Daley Plaza.

Crews were attempting to crown the Picasso statue with an Olympic laurel in recognition of the city's 2016 bid when a few people grabbed the banner's packaging and tried to carry it away.

Remnants of the packaging were tossed into the Eternal Flame Memorial.

Earlier in the day, members of the group "No Games Chicago" held a peaceful rally outside City Hall to speak out against the games and the tax dollars they say are at risk.

The group says they've sent representatives to Copenhagen to try to influence the International Olympic Committee's decision, which will be made Friday.
