Snooki doesn't see how she could be compared to Lindsay Lohan.

"It was harsh," the "Jersey Shore" star told People. "I never drank and drove, I don't do drugs – I do nothing that Lindsay does, so it was definitely a little overboard."

The MTV starlet, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, 22, was referring to a judge's comment that she appeared to be, "acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe," during her July arrest in Seaside Heights.

Snooki pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in the incident, and was fined $500 and given two days' community service.

After handing down the sentence, Seaside Heights Judge Damien Murray wondered aloud if Snooki's actions were scripted and she was "trading your dignity for a paycheck," before making his LiLo comparison and calling her actions "rude and self-indulgent."

Even if she didn't like the comparison, she told People that she's "over it," and happy that the criminal charges were dismissed.

That wasn't her only brush with authority on Wednesday, just hours after her court appearance Newark Mayor Cory Booker called her out for texting while driving.

Snooki tweeted, "Ugh stuck in Nwk traffic is no fun."

And Booker shot back, "Snooki! I'm the mayor where R U so I can give u a ticket 4 texting & driving we needs revenue!"

As CNN's The Marquee Blog points out, the conversation was pretty one-sided (Snooki didn't respond to the New Jersey mayor), but that didn't stop him from sending another tweet about the pint-sized star.

"Definitely going 2 tell @Oprah on her. @sn00ki needs an intervention," Booker posted.
