Leonardo DiCaprio Gets Restraining Order Against Attacker

Woman ordered not to come within 500 yards of actor

Leonardo DiCaprio has been granted a restraining order against the woman accused of attacking him with a broken beer bottle five years ago.

Aretha Wilson, who allegedly slashed the "Inception" star's face at a house party back in June 2005, was ordered Wednesday by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hilleri G. Merritt not to come within 500 yards of DiCaprio, according to reports.

Wilson, 40, had been extradited from her native Canada and brought to Los Angeles. She is being held on $150,000 bail and is due to be arraigned Aug. 11, E! News reported

Following the 2005 attack, which occurred at the home of Paris Hilton's ex, Rick Salomon, DiCaprio was taken to the hospital where he received 17 stitches to his face and ear.

Wilson was on probation in Canada for another offense at the time. After the incident, Wilson fled back to Canada, where just a year later she was accused of attacking her ex-boyfriend over the head with a beer bottle, according to Examiner.com.
