U.S. President Barack Obama (R) smiles while flanked by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden before signing an executive order dealing with the Middle Class Working Families during an event in the East Room of the White House January 30, 2009 in Washington, DC.
Air Force One and Two will both be heading west Thursday.
President Barack Obama will make his third visit in as many months to fund-raise for Illinois Democratic Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias. Vice-President Joe Biden will be in Madison, Wis., stumping for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who is running for that state's governor.
Earlier this week, Ward Room reported that donations made to Giannoulias' campaign will put contributors in the running for a dinner with the President.
Obama will arrive in Chicago late in the afternoon and head to two fundraisers. One of them has tickets starting at $15,000.
Biden's visit to Wisconsin is for what the Democratic Governors Association has said is one of the top 10 races it's targeting nationally.
