The Second City Bringing Blago Back
The son of Robert F. Kennedy has been charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly clashing with two nurses who tried to stop him from taking his 2-day-old baby boy from a Westchester maternity unit. Douglas Kennedy and his wife called the charges "absurd" and said the nurses were in the wrong. Jonathan Dienst reports. The Second City's bringing back "Rod Blagojevich Superstar!" in a new location.
The stage comedy about the rise and fall of Blago moves to the Metropolis Arts Centre in Arlington Heights next week.
The show also includes characters portraying a foul-mouthed Patti Blagojevich, Sen. Roland Burris, Patrick Fitzgerald, Dick Mell and Lisa Madigan.
The cast is known for continually adding new material to the show, so you can bet there will be plenty of tweaks incorporating the most recent developments.
After all, truth is stranger -- and funnier -- than fiction.
August 6 - 18th, Tickets: $28.50 and $33.50
