“Divvy has been a great success, and for the millionth time, these bikes have provided a fun, convenient and active way to explore Chicago,” Emanuel said in a statement. “This spring and summer, we expect even more people to start using bike sharing as a transit option for getting around the city.”

To celebrate warmer weather and bicycling, Emanuel designated April 21-27, 2014 to be “Divvy Week.”

Daily passes will be offered for $5 and riders who become annual members during Divvy Week will receive a Chipotle gift card. Divvy members will also receive 50 percent off frozen yogurt from any Forever Yogurt location in Chicago by flashing their Divvy key at checkout.
