What do you run for?
It's an age-old question, often asked around this time of year, when running means bundling up in three layers and not being able to feel your fingers and toes. It's asked of runners who complete mega-long distances, many times in the form of "Why would you do that?"
This time, Team World Vision asks that same question in an inspirational video message:
Team World Vision is the largest charity at the Chicago Marathon, asking participants to fundraise for clean water projects around the globe. Whether you join their team for the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Half, or any other race, you can still take a bit of motivation from their video. Run to forget about your final exam, run to overcome obstacles, run to be in the best shape of your life-- no matter why you're doing it, just run and enjoy it this weekend!
What's keeping you motivated through the snow and cold? Let us know at @StrideNBC with the hashtag #StrideInspiration and we'll post it next week!
