Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you stay at home and have your Labor Day cookout. Burgers? Check. Dogs? Check. Beer? Check. Eight different kinds of potato chip? Check. LET’S GO!

CHILDREN OF 9/11 – 10:00PM (NBC) The run of 9/11 anniversary programming hits primetime network TV tonight, with this hourlong special featuring interviews and home movies of children directly impacted by the 9/11 attacks, including one kid who was born just two days after his father perished. It's hard to believe it's been ten years since it all happened, so seeing these kids grown up will probably hit you like a bag of hammers. Bring tissues. ANTICIPATION: ROUGH!

WHEN POP CULTURE SAVED AMERICA: A 9/11 STORY – 8:00PM (Biography) On the flipside of tasteful 9/11 programming comes this special, and I swear there's someone at Biography Channel who thought that title was a good idea. I want to find whoever titled this special and staple his forehead. Because while I think it's nice that many celebrities hosted telethons and fundraisers after the attacks, I really don't need a retrospective telling me how America was magically healed because Fred Durst did a cover version of "Wish You Were Here." Unbelievably distasteful. ANTICIPATION: THE NERVE!

PATTON OSWALT: FINEST HOUR – 10:00PM (Showtime) One of the better comedians around gets an hourlong special tonight on Showtime. Tune in an hour earlier for another comedy special featuring comedian Russell Peters. ANTICIPATION: LAFFY!

MIAMI VS. MARYLAND – 8:00PM (ESPN) The Miami Hurricanes football team takes the field for the first time since that devastating Yahoo report that uncovered nearly a decade of rampant corruption and hooker parties. Something tells me the Canes will struggle now that players know they can't go there an experience unbridled hedonism. What other criteria could you possibly use when choosing a college? ANTICIPATION: DOWNHILL!

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS – 9:00PM (Bravo - an NBC/Universal network) Season two begins tonight. This show is totally what Biography Channel was talking about when it said pop culture saved America. ANTICIPATION: CATTY!
