As part of the festivities going on around the NHL’s Winter Classic in January, the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks will engage in an alumni game at Busch Stadium, and the St. Louis roster is packed to the gills with NHL legends.

The biggest name on the list is The Great One, as Wayne Gretzky will don a Blues jersey and skate for St. Louis in the game. Gretzky, who holds NHL records for career goals, assists, and points, played just 18 regular season games for the Blues, scoring eight goals and dishing out 13 assists in the 1995-96 season.

Another player more known for his play with another team will also be joining the Blues in the game, as goaltender Martin Brodeur will man the net for St. Louis. The New Jersey Devils legend played his final NHL games as a member of the Blues, playing in seven regular season games and sporting a 3-3-0 record in the process.

Other notable names on the list include Brett Hull, whose dad Bobby is one of the greatest players in the history of the Blackhawks, Al MacInnis, Adam Oates, Chris Pronger, and Keith Tkachuk.

Here is the full list of Blues players that will take part in the game:

    Forwards:

Gino Cavallini, Kelly Chase, Dallas Drake, Bernie Federko, Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull, Scott Mellanby, Adam Oates, Larry Patey, Peter Stastny, Keith Tkachuk, Pierre Turgeon, Terry Yake, Scott Young

    Defensemen:

The Blackhawks are expected to announce their alumni roster for the game in the near future, with players like Dennis Savard, Eric Daze, and Jeremy Roenick likely to be among those suiting up for the team.
