Remember that resolution to eat healthier and lose weight? Well, throw that out the window because a new cupcake shop just opened in the Loop.
Sugar Bliss Cakes (115 N Wabash Ave.) has been around for awhile, but there was no retail location, so owner Teresa Ging was delivering the cupcakes herself.
Every cupcake is baked fresh daily with natural ingredients, and 10 varieties are available per day. Sugar fanatics can also enjoy perks like a "shot" of buttercream icing.
If you're not ready to throw those resolutions out just yet, you can opt for a mini-cupcake.
Ging left a career in finance to follow her true passion -- all the way to Paris. She attended Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and then spent eight months testing and tasting.
We're all better off because of her dedication.
