One Dead in Rogers Park Crash Cops Call a “Crime Scene”

Four others listed in critical condition at area hospitals

One person was killed and four others were critically injured in a crash Thursday night in Rogers Park.

First responders were called to the area of 2900 West Howard Street, near North Kedzie Avenue, at about 9:30 p.m.

One person was dead on the scene, a fire department spokesperson said. Four others were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston.

All were listed in critical condition.

A police official called the crash a "crime scene."
