What's Good for the Naughty Goose

Goose Island releases its new line of beers with a party at Sheffield's

Everyone loves Goose Island's Honker's Ale and 312 Urban Wheat, but that's not all there is to Chicago's favorite craft brewery. Find out what's on tap at at party at Sheffield's Beer School Bar celebrating Goose Island's new Pub Heritage Collection on Sunday, April 5 at 7PM.

The Pub Heritage Collection includes beers that have been long-time favorites at Goose Island's brew pub locations, including "Red Felt," a red ale packed with flavor from American hops and named after the red felt-topped pool tables at the original Clybourn Street brew pub, "Demolition," a Belgian-style golden ale named in honor of the brew pub staffers who kept things afloat while wrecking balls took down the surrounding buildings, and "Naughty Goose," an award-winning American brown ale boasting a roasted malt body, fruity aroma and chocolate and caramel notes.

These brews, along with Goose Island's Night Stalker dry-hopped Russian Imperial Stout, will be paired with Sheffield's appetizers, and Goose Island brewmaster Greg Hall will be on hand to answer any questions (and to enjoy a few pints, of course). The Beer School Bar at Sheffield's Goose Island Pub Heritage Collection release party is $25 per person to attend.

Space is limited for this sure-to-sell-out event; call Sheffield's at 773-281-4989 for a reservation.
