    FASHION DISTRICT: District Bar takes its monthly Fashion District event to a new level tonight with its "Hot Ice" event tonight, a special showcase of swimwear, shades and fur fashions that offers more than the typical bikini and cover-up. Special designers on hand include Meekis, Protégé eyewear and Elan Furs. Get half-off bottles of wine and salads and deals from a special menu, enjoy a free glass of bubbly from 7-8 p.m. and stick around for the runway show at 8 p.m. 7 p.m., 170 West Ontario St, NO COVER

    AQUA JAZZ: Don't let the summer pass without checking out Jazzin' at the Shedd, every Wednesday through Sept. 1. Check out local bands, gawk at the aquatic animals and check out the fireworks from the outdoor terraces. Uber-mixologist Todd Appel helms a hosted bar from 10-11 p.m., featuring Maker's Mark drinks, resident DJs Les Tres Stooges hold down the beats until the early morn'.
