Where to Watch the Fireworks

Chicagoland has a plethora of firework displays this holiday weekend

    Where to Watch the Fireworks
Fireworks and the 4th of July go hand in hand and for nearly five years Fallbrook's annual “Grand Tradition July 4th” fundraiser has brought its audience a great show. The tickets cost $25 and that even includes dinner to go along with the view.

Nothing says the Fourth of July like a good round of fireworks, and there will be plenty of shows to catch in the Chicagoland area this weekend.

    Firework shows, by city, include:

Crystal Lake -- July 5 at dusk on the lake. $4 admission to festival.

Vernon Hills -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. at Big and Little Bear Lakes.

    Evanston -- July 4, 9:15 p.m., Clark Street Beach.

    Wilmette -- July 3, 9:30 p.m. Gillson Park.

Oak Park -- July 4 at dusk, Oak Park and River Forest High School football stadium.

Aurora -- July 2 from 6-10 p.m. at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.

Bolingbrook -- July 4, 9:15 p.m. at Bolingbrook Golf Club

Downers Grove -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. at 75th Street and Lemont Road.

Glen Ellyn -- July 4 at dusk, Lake Ellyn Park

    Joliet -- July 3, 9 p.m. in downtown Joliet and July 4, 9 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

Lisle -- July 2-4, 9:45 p.m. at Lisle Community Park

Naperville -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. in Knoch Park (Ribfest)

Wheaton -- July 3, 9:15 p.m. at DuPage County Fairgrounds

Break out the red, white and blue and celebrate America’s independence with a bang.
