Ozzie Guillen's Son Quits Over Twitter Flap

MIddle son resigns over club's questioning his blunt tweets

Ozzie Guillen's middle son resigned from the White Sox's video department Friday over the club's repeated questioning of his tweets, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Guillen declined to speak to reporters, the paper said, though his wife Ibis spoke to General Manager Kenny Williams for several minutes outside the spring training office.

Williams has been a vocal critic of Guillen's twitter account, which is at times updated by Guillen's sons.

On Friday evening, Guillen tweeted "Me tocaron donde mas me duele y tengo que estar listo para lo que venga como siempre lo e hecho," which translates in Spanish as "they touched me where it hurts most and I have to be ready for whatever is coming as I always do."

Guillen also tweeted "hey kid we are behind you. no matter what," an apparent reference to his son.
