Cubs reliever Kyle Ryan is expected to land in Chicago tomorrow and begin the intake screening process to eventually join the club at Summer Camp.
The Cubs said Monday Ryan hasn't arrived at camp yet due to a "process-based delay." Cubs manager David Ross described it as "protocol technicalities."
Ryan has been training on his own in Florida. He threw a live batting practice session Saturday and a bullpen on Tuesday.

Ryan will undergo COVID-19 testing tomorrow, as will the rest of the Cubs per MLB's every-other-day arrangement. The lefty cannot step into the Cubs clubhouse or officially join practice before testing negative, however.
The Cubs are believed to be the only National League team with no positive COVID-19 tests among players and staff.
Ryan, 28, is the Cubs' top lefty reliever. In 73 outings last season, he posted a 3.54 ERA and 1.38 WHIP.
