Bryant hit by pitch, exits game vs. Cleveland originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
The Cubs experienced a scary moment during Wednesday's game in Cleveland when Kris Bryant left the game following a hit by pitch.
Bryant pinch hit for David Bote in the seventh inning, taking a 95 mph fastball from Cal Quantrill off the left wrist. He walked to first base slowly before leaving the field with a member of the Cubs' training staff.

Nick Martini pinch ran for Bryant.
Bryant was not in Wednesday's starting lineup due to feeling "super under the weather," manager David Ross said pregame. The 29-year-old exited Tuesday's game after having trouble breathing and dealing with sinus issues.
The Cubs have been playing short-handed, even before Tuesday. Nico Hoerner, Ian Happ and Jake Marisnick are all on the injured list.
Bryant has been the Cubs' best hitter this season, batting .308/.400/.650 with nine home runs and 22 RBIs in 34 games.
More to come.
