In a bid to clear his mind after the Bears dismal performance last Sunday, tight end and lone bright spot in the Bears' offense Greg OIsen volunteered his time Tuesday at a local FedEx shipping office.
The neanderthalian wonder was participating in FedEx's "Pack and Ship" promotion, in which fans had the opportunity to win autographed NFL merch just by stopping by the office.
In between packing duties, Olsen extemporized on FedEx's intricate and efficient methods of operation.
To wit: "We shipped something from Chicago to Chicago with a plane."
Olsen also spoke on the Bears' season.
"Trying to get this bad taste out of our mouth," Olsen said, referring to the Bears' goal of simply winning a game after four straight losses. "Hopefully finish the season with a positive note."
Olsen also acknowledged it was tough to continue playing with the realization that the Bears postseason chances are basically nill.
"Just try to get those wins," Olsen said, "and let the end sort itself out."
