Chicago Cubs Set to Welcome Star Chefs to Wrigley Field This Summer

Graham Elliot and Rick Bayless are among the chefs set to bring their culinary delights to Wrigley Field

In the never-ending quest to take the art of ballpark food to the next level, the Chicago Cubs have kicked things up a notch by announcing the participants in this year’s Chef Series at Wrigley Field.

The Chef Series brings together some of the city’s most loved culinary minds and brings their dishes to the Sheffield Corner concession area, located in the right field corner of the Wrigley Field grandstand.

This year’s series will get underway on June 3 when the Cubs welcome the Los Angeles Angels to Wrigley Field for a make-up game. Chef Graham Elliot, an award-winning chef, restaurateur and TV personality, will bat in the culinary lead-off spot at the stand, as he will bring several incredible creations to the Friendly Confines.

Included on his list of food offerings is the Grahamwich Grilled Cheese, which pairs the traditional grilled cheese sandwich with tomato marmalade, crispy bacon, and Butterkäse. The Sheffield Corner will also feature the Graham Slam Burger, which comes with grilled red onions, baby watercress, melted brie, and roasted garlic mayo.

A lobster corndog and the Bases Loaded Tots, which come with cheese curds, giardiniera, bacon, and chives, will also be on the menu.

Later this summer, other Chicago celebrity chefs will come through the ballpark:

Rick Bayless – Late June

Christine Cikowski and Josh Kulp – Mid-July

Dana Salls Cree – Mid-July

Tony Mantuano – Early August

Matthias Merges – Late August

Abe Conlon and Adrienne Lo – Early September
