Money Over Medicine: Why There's Still No Ebola Vaccine

Even as Ebola spirals out of control in West Africa, there's still no available vaccine to prevent the dreaded virus. The reason, according to one infectious disease expert for the U.S. military: "There is no market in it." That lack of a market, NBC News reported Tuesday, is why scientists are still struggling to find vaccines and treatments, with four vaccines now in development and one of the most promising treatments now stuck in safety testing.
