A 12-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing a 9-year-old boy on a Michigan playground told authorities he wanted to go to jail according to a court document filed Friday. The boy also claims he did not know the victim, Michael Verkerke, 9. Known for being "bad and always does stupid things," according to the delinquency petition filed in Kent County Circuit Court, the 12-year-old turned himself in to police.
