A Taliban suicide bomber detonated explosives outside the capital of Kabul, Afghanistan, killing one police officer and injuring three others, NBC News reported. Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai said a police patrol chased the explosives-laden Toyota Corolla before it detonated at about 7:30 a.m. local time. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which is the latest against government forces and civilians alike. On Saturday, a suicide bomber destroyed a bus carrying soldiers to the Kabul, killing six.
