Where to Celebrate Chi-Town Rising Downtown

Chi-Town Central will be home to multiple partner events where party-goers can celebrate Chi-Town Rising

Crowds of people will flock to Chicago’s riverfront Dec. 31 to catch Chi-Town Rising, the city’s newest New Year’s Eve tradition.

The ticketed event, presented by Corona Extra and hosted by Hyatt Gold Passport, will be held along the Chicago River between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive, with a Countdown Stage on the south side of the river and a midnight countdown featuring a giant Chicago star rising into the sky.

The celebration will be televised live on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago beginning at 11 p.m. on Dec. 31. Chi-Town Rising attendees can also share their NYE moments on social media using #ChiTownRising.

Those who want to get close to the action but want to ring in the New Year from the comfort of a heated facility can still celebrate Chi-Town Rising at multiple locations hosting partner events.
