Police issued an alert after an elderly woman was pushed to the ground and robbed in the Lakeview neighborhood on the city's North Side on Sunday morning.
The robbery occurred inside a residential building in the 3600 block of N Pine Grove Ave on Sunday, according to police. The incident occurred at 8:55 a.m., and was caught on a surveillance camera.
After pushing the woman to the ground, the suspect took personal property from her, according to police.
Authorities continue to search for the offender, who they say is a male between the ages of 39 and 44 years old. He is described as being between 5'10" and 6'0" and weighing between 200 and 210 pounds.
