A man accused of stabbing his 27-year-old roommate multiple times in Hyde Park was arrested Monday in Dallas County, Texas.

Ross Jacobs, 27, was booked about 12:45 p.m. at Dallas County Jail, according to jail records. He was being held for police in Chicago and was denied bail for an attempted murder charge, jail records said.

It wasn’t known early Wednesday in what town in Dallas County Jacobs was arrested.

Jacobs allegedly stabbed his roommate repeatedly at their apartment in the 5400 block of South Hyde Park Boulevard about 3 a.m. March 13, police said.
