Rainfall Totals Across the Chicago Area

Storms dumped several inches of rain on the Chicago area Saturday, with most counties across northern Illinois under a Flash Flood Watch through the evening. 

The downpour even made history, with 2.06 inches of rain falling at O'Hare Airport between Friday night and Saturday afternoon, shattering the 24-hour record of 1.15 inches set in 2003. 

By Sunday morning, O'Hare saw 4.39 inches of rain, making it the wettest October day in recorded history, according to the NWS.
