Attention, Portillo's lovers: Mark your calendars for a "bun-believable" pop-up shop coming soon to Woodfield Mall.
The Portillo’s Experience, the Chicago-based restaurant chain's first-ever pop-up shop, pays homage to its customers' love of Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and, of course, its chocolate cake through a series of interactive spaces.
Potentially Insta-worthy moments include: The French Fry Room, "featuring 'cheese sauce' dripping from the ceiling, life-sized plush French fries and a neon sign proclaiming, 'I Only Have Fries for You.'" Or the giant Onion Ring Swing and Hot Dog Sofa created with Vienna Beef for maximum Chicago style.
Tori Terzakis with Revel Decor joined the hosts of “Chicago Today” to show off colorful, fall-themed tabletop displays.
