The Cubs won the World Series Wednesday night following more than a century of superstitions that have seeped into popular culture.

Mike Schur, the producer of NBC's "Parks and Rec" reminded fans of the Cubs and his show of just that shortly after the North Siders claimed their victory.

"Two years ago, in a season that took place in the summer of 2017," Schur wrote, under his Twitter pseudeynom Ken Tremendous, with an image attached from the episode:
