Park at Wrigley to Host Curling Classes Next Month

The classes will be held next month, while ice sculptors will be at the park Saturday

If you’ve ever watched curling on TV and have wanted to learn how to play the game, then a new class at an iconic venue might be of interest to you.

“Learn to Curl” classes will be held at the Park at Wrigley in February, according to a press release Friday. Those classes, which will be conducted by the Chicago Curling Club and several other local curling organizations, will last one hour and will take place on six different days next month.

The Rink at the Park will host classes from Feb. 5 to 7, and from Feb. 12 to 14. Classes will run from 3 to 9 p.m. on all six days, according to the Park at Wrigley’s management.

Classes cost $50 per person, and come with a free beverage at the Park's concession stand, or at the Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern

For those looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Park at Wrigley will host ice carvers on Saturday afternoon from 12 to 5 p.m. The sculptors will create the Chicago skyline and the Wrigley Field marquee out of ice, according to park management.
