Naperville’s iconic Ribfest will be looking for a new home after the 2019 edition of the event, and may even move out of the suburb entirely.
That announcement was made on Wednesday on the event’s Facebook page. Ribfest, held every year by the Naperville Exchange Club since 1988, has until now taken place at Knoch Park.

Now, the Naperville Park District will re-develop the land at the park, according to the Daily Herald, and will no longer host Ribfest at the location after 2019.
According to the Herald, there are even questions about whether the event will stay in Naperville, as organizers look for a new host location for the 2020 event.
In the meantime, event organizers say that three headlining musical acts have already been confirmed for the 2019 Ribfest, which is slated to take place from July 3 to 5.
