One person is dead and three were wounded Wednesday following shootings in a Rogers Park McDonald's parking lot Wednesday.
It happened at around 3:30 p.m. in the area of North Clark Street and Pratt Boulevard.
According to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford, a teenager was pronounced dead at the scene, a male and female were listed in serious to critical condition and an 18-year-old man walked into a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.
NBC 5 has learned that a 14-year-old girl was shot several times and stumbled into the restaurant's bathroom, and a 17-year-old male was shot in the back.
Witnesses say the shooter was wearing a mask and didn't seem to be in a hurry to leave the scene.
"He wasn't running, he just walked. By the time I got there, I do nursing training, thought I could help, there wasn't no helping the young man, he was shot in his temple," a witness said.
Police say at least two of the victims had gang affiliations.
