Man Wanted for Second Bank Robbery: FBI

The FBI said he should be considered armed and dangerous

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed two banks last month in the South Loop and Edgewater Beach neighborhoods.

In the latest robbery, the man implied he had a weapon on May 28 at a Chase Bank at 1055 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., the FBI and Chicago police said.

He apparently wore the same clothing over a week earlier on May 17 when he robbed another Chase Bank branch at 1934 S. State St. in the South Loop.

The man, who was described as about 6-feet tall and in his 20s, stepped into another branch and handed the teller a note saying he had a gun, police said. He ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.

The FBI said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
