Ex-Husband Sought in Glen Ellyn Woman's Murder

Juan M. Granados may be driving to Mexico, police said

Police on Monday continued searching for the ex-husband of a woman found dead Sunday morning inside a Glen Ellyn apartment.

Juan M. Granados may be driving to Mexico, police said, in a black, four-door BMW 325i with the license plates L655003. Detectives said Granados was living in the apartment with Nancy Bustos, 36, and their two children.

He may have been the last person to see Bustos alive, police said.

Bustos' family called police for a well-being check after not seeing or hearing from her since Friday.

Once inside the apartment, police found her dead in her apartment, at 19 Briar St. The two children are safe, police said, and are being cared for by family members.

She was discovered in a bathtub and apparently had been strangled, law enforcement sources said.

Anyone who spots the car or has information about the case is asked to call Glen Ellyn police at 630-469-1187.
