Firefighters battled a blaze at a three-story apartment building on the West Side Friday afternoon.
Flames were seen shooting out of the third story of the building in the 2200 block of South Kolin in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
The building was occupied, but firefighters were able to get everyone out safely, officials said.
