Police say it was a limo driver targeted this time. It was parked on a small, residential street in Lincoln Park when multiple people attacked.

It occurred about 5:30 a.m, Monday. Video from a home near Wisconsin and Lincoln Avenue shows the attack unfold.

One man throws the driver out in the street, while another goes through his vehicle. Then while the driver is down, both cars take off. The limo takes a sharp left, speeding away through an alley.

Marilyn Ezri was outside just blocks away. This crime is a scary wake up call for the longtime resident who says this street is always peaceful.

"My neighbors are very concerned about the crime going up here," she said. "And you now we don’t carry guns or things lie that it just hasn’t happened here."

Police later discovered the stolen car after it was involved in a three-car accident near a South Side intersection at 63rd and Cornell.

According to the Chicago police crime map, at least six violent crimes have occurred in Lincoln Park this month.

As for the suspects in this carjacking: one was hurt in the crash and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The other took off on foot and police were still trying to find him Wednesday night.
