DeVry, Chamberlain Campuses Reopen Tuesday Following Threat

All Chicago-area Chamberlain and DeVry University campuses will reopen on Tuesday following an unspecified security threat that closed the schools on Monday.

The closure included Chamberlain Addison, Chicago and Tinley Park locations.

There were no specifics provided as to what was included in the threat. Students and staff should check chi.devry.edu for the most up-to-date information.

DeVry President David Pauldine told the Chicago Sun-Times that the email included the sender's address and that law enforcement was trying to verify the address.

Contacted by NBC Chicago, police officials in Addison, Tinley Park and Chicago said they were all unware of the security threat.

"At this time, I cannot," was the response given by a man driving a campus police truck when asked if he could share the nature of the security concern.
