Police: Man Tried to Lure Girls Into Home by Offering Them Pizza

The man hid behind a fence while trying to lure the girls, police said

Chicago police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to lure three young girls into a Southwest Side home by offering them pizza.

Between 5 and 6 p.m. on May 25, police say that a man tried to lure the girls into a home in the 8500 block of South Kolin in the city’s Scottsdale neighborhood. The man allegedly offered the girls pizza, and stood behind a fence while waving his hand to invite them into the home.

The girls ran from the scene before they could get a better view of the alleged offender, police said.

The man is described as being in his late 30s, and his height and weight is unknown due to standing behind a fence while trying to lure the girls into the home, police said.
