Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez has had an impressive season on the field this year, but off the field things are getting even better for the superstar.

On Friday, Baez revealed that he and his fiancée Irmarie Marquez had welcomed their son into the world, and he posted pictures on Twitter of the newborn:

“Thank you God for another of your many blessings!” Baez tweeted.

Baez and Marquez also announced their engagement earlier this year, posting a series of gorgeous photos to commemorate the milestone in their lives.

Baez is not in the lineup for the Cubs on Friday as they take on the Minnesota Twins at Wrigley Field, but according to MLB’s transaction list, he has not been put on the paternity list.
