Chicago Bulls Officially Sign Thaddeus Young, Waive Shaquille Harrison

Young averaged 12.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season with the Pacers

The Chicago Bulls have made it official, signing forward Thaddeus Young to a three-year contract.

Young, who spent the last three seasons with the Indiana Pacers, averaged 12.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season, and averaged 2.5 assists per contest for good measure.

Yahoo's Chris Haynes and the Chicago Sun-Times both reported the deal earlier this month. The Bulls did not release terms of the contract, in accordance with team policy, but earlier reports indicated the deal would pay Young nearly $14 million per season on average.

In his career, Young has averaged 13.4 points and six rebounds per game, with stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Minnesota to go along with the Pacers.

In another roster move, the Bulls also announced that they have waived guards Shaquille Harrison and Walt Lemon Jr.
