A body was discovered Saturday on Promontory Point along Chicago's South DuSable Lake Shore Drive, authorities said.
At approximately 1:13 p.m., the Chicago Fire Department's Marine Unit recovered the body of an unknown male victim on the rocks of Promontory Point.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene, according to Chicago police.
An investigation is underway by Area One detectives.
