NBC 5 Chicago is proud to support the 22nd Annual Black Harvest Film Festival at the Gene Siskel Film Center August 5th through September 1st.
The festival celebrates the best in contemporary independent filmmaking exploring stories, images, heritage and history of the black experience in the U.S. and around the world.
Opening night on August 5th will be emceed by NBC 5 Chicago reporter LeeAnn Trotter with a celebratory 9:30pm screening of Purple Rain.
