Bears Player Goes Undercover to Get Teammates' Autographs at Training Camp

“Best way to go undercover in front of your own teammates at #BearsCamp? A bucket hat, of course,” the team tweeted

Nothing quite like going incognito with just a Mitch Trubisky jersey and a bucket hat.

That was the disguise used by Bears backup quarterback Chase Daniel, who went undercover to get autographs from his teammates around training camp.

And it worked.

“Best way to go undercover in front of your own teammates at #BearsCamp? A bucket hat, of course,” the team tweeted.

In a video posted by the Bears, Daniel is seen sparking crowd chants, asking players about their positions and even convincing Trubisky to sign his jersey.

“Jersey! Jersey!” he is seen shouting at Trubisky, who walks over to sign his jersey. “You’re the best quarterback ever!

Trubisky is then seen on camera asking “Who is that?” before bursting out in laughter.

Daniel even convinced Coach Matt Nagy for a signature.

“Thank you coach!” he said.
