At least 5 hospitalized after Pace mini-bus knocked over in Roseland crash

Chicago fire officials say at least five people were taken to area hospitals after a Pace mini-bus was knocked on its side in a crash with another vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the collision occurred near the intersection of South Wentworth Avenue and 102nd Street in the Roseland neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.

NBC’s Sky 5 was over the scene, observing that a silver vehicle had sustained heavy damage to its front end, with the Pace bus knocked onto its side by the force of the crash.

At least five people were taken to area hospitals, with all of them listed in fair-to-serious condition, according to fire officials.

It is unclear what caused the crash, and is unclear which vehicles the hospitalized victims were riding in at the time of the collision.
