Toyota to Host Local Celebrities at 2013 Chicago Auto Show

Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton among special guests

Attendees of the Chicago Auto Show can expect several local celebrities to make an appearance during Toyota’s Public Days.

Toyota will host local professional athletes and special guests in its exhibit from Saturday to Feb. 18. Professional athletes range from current Chicago Bears to players from the Bears’ 1985 championship team.

Defensive tackle Henry Melton is scheduled to make an appearance Feb. 12 for interviews, photos and autographs. Players from the 1985 team, including Keith Van Home and Steve McMichael, are also scheduled to attend.

Special guests include marine experts and animals from the Shedd Aquarium.

Toyota also plans to host sports-talk radio station 670 THE SCORE with live, daily broadcasts and interviews by several hosts including McNeil and Spiegel, and Boers and Bernstein.

Fans of the Chicago Fire soccer team can expect a couple of appearances by their mascot, Sparky.

The 2013 Chicago Auto Show takes place Saturday through Feb. 18 at McCormick Place.
