Old Style Beer Wants to Keep Flowing at Wrigley

Old Style wants Chicago Cubs fans to stop drinking its beer long enough to speak up on its behalf.

In a news release, Old Style says it is launching a grassroots campaign to keep its beer flowing at Wrigley Field.

The company's public appeal follows last week's announcement by the Cubs that the team is making Anheuser-Busch InBev its "exclusive marketing partner" for beer and malt beverages. The team said it would be ending its decades-long marketing relationship with Old Style in 2014.

The Cubs say the deal means that Old Style signs will disappear and not necessarily the beer itself. But Old Style is worried about its future at Wrigley and wants fans to let the team's concession management partner, Levy Restaurants, know how much they love Old Style.
